| Subject: [xsl] ESQL result inside xsl From: tom.kirkpatrick@xxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Tue, 3 May 2005 11:21:46 +0100 |
I am using ESQL to retrieve some data from a mysql database. On sucess I
want to call an xsl template, passing it the esql result as a parameter. I
have thge following code which works fine in that it calls displays the
template ok, but the perameter doesn't include the esql result:
<xsp:logic>
if ( <param:userId /> and <param:email /> ) {
        ... conection details ...
<esql:results>
        <esql:row-results>
                <xsp:content>
                        <xsl:call-template name="
displayPasswordRecoveryResult">
                                <xsl:with-param name="password">
                                        <esql:get-string column="password"
/>
                                </xsl:with-param>
                        </xsl:call-template>
                </xsp:content>
</esql:row-results>
</esql:results>
</esql:execute-query>
</esql:connection>
...
I tried setting up a xsl:variable to hold the result of the esql query,
but when I encaplulated the esql stuff inside an xsl:variable tag, the
variable just contained the node contents (consisting of the text() from
the esql bit) rather than the result of the query.
How can I get either of these routes to work correctly?
