Subject: Re: [xsl] error executing path expression From: David Carlisle <davidc@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 26 May 2005 12:26:28 +0100 |
I am getting an error "FATAL ERROR: The context item for an axis step is
not a node"
That error message seems faily clear:
<xsl:variable name="split"
select="tokenize(replace($AName,'(.)([A-Z])','$1 $2'), ' ')"/>
That produces a sequence of strings
<xsl:for-each select="$split">
That iterates over the sequence, making the current item each string in
turn.
<xsl:if
test="TopConcept/
that is an error as the current item is a string not a node so you can't
try to find the TopConcept child of the current item.
You need
<xsl:if
test="$something/TopConcept/
where the variable something is a saved node from outside the
xsl:for-each.
