Subject: Re: [xsl] What's your visual metaphor for XSL Transformations? From: "Eric Bréchemier" <eric.brechemier@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 19 Mar 2007 15:09:50 +0100 |
This may be a weird question, but what do you see in your mind's eye when you imagine an XSL transformation happening?
- Colorful Pipes is my primary mental image http://src.eric.brechemier.name/media/xsl/2007-03-19/architecturePipes.png (maybe too much time spent in front of Mario Bros...)
- and Object Oriented definitely, which justifies (at least) the use of UML and Design Patterns http://src.eric.brechemier.name/media/xsl/2007-03-19/architectureUML.png
Sometimes, in bad days, I see the transformation as a big inhuman factory where data slides unrelentingly on treadmills http://src.eric.brechemier.name/media/xsl/2007-03-19/insideFactory.png
