Chris, Disappearing angle brackets is a known problem that NISO is working on fixing. I was sloppy in not escaping them when I posted this response. The responses to all of the comments for version 1.1d2 are available in this summary: http://www.niso.org/apps/org/workgroup/jats-sc/download.php/14128/JATS-SC-J ATS-1.1d2-Chg-Hist.pdf In case you can9t come up with an algorithm to figure out that URL for each new version, there is a link to the Standing Committee report on each Version page on the JATS supporting information page: http://jats.nlm.nih.gov/publishing/1.1d2/ The same report is linked from the Archiving (http://jats.nlm.nih.gov/archiving/1.1d2/) and Authoring (http://jats.nlm.nih.gov/articleauthoring/1.1d2/) version pages.
