Subject: EcmaScript, gone? From: "Pawson, David" <DPawson@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 27 Aug 1998 08:05:00 +0100 |
a quick search of the WD shows up ecmascript in the design goals, but nowhere else. Has it gone altogether? No substitute? WAI Protocols and Formats were looking to leverage the use of the scripting language for braille contractions prior to using the formatting side for presentation. Without this 'programming language' side, are we reduced to a two step function? Some XML tool which can do the 'programming', then a seperate use of XSL to do the formatting. Pity. timeo gaecos dona ferentes XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
