Kim,

It looks like your time id's contain all the information you need, in the 
proper format for sorting.  If you just for-each through your <time> 
elements and sort on the id's, you'll have what you want.  No need for any 
special date/time functions.

..substring(./time/@id,9,2). and this is what i want to sort in 
..ascending order.
..so that i may show the timetext in chronological order. How do i 
..do this. Can someone help??
