They produced this as a stopgap in 1998 while waiting for the XSLT standard to be finished. IE6 also includes an excellent implementation of the standard XSLT language, which is the subject of this list, and is the language that you should be using. The easiest way of spotting the difference is from the namespace declaration in the <xsl:stylesheet> element, but there are many other differences, and XSLT is far more powerful.
