Hi Wendell, Hi David, thanks for your reply. In my Hex-Editor I see in my stylesheet one x20 (space) transforming to one x0A and sixteen x20. I tried following: <xsl:text>Club Suche</xsl:text> leads to x0A and sixteen x20 <xsl:text>Club Suche</xsl:text> (keyboard space) leads to x0A and sixteen x20 <xsl:text>Club</xsl:text> <xsl:text>Suche</xsl:text> leads to stripped whitespace. <xsl:text>Club</xsl:text> <xsl:text>Suche</xsl:text>(keyboard space between tags) leads to stripped whitespace. The text is part of an URL, in my browser the call looks like: Club%0A++++++++++++++++Suche%7Cresult.xml This is what I want in my URL: path=Club+Suche%7Cresult.xml I am very confused about this behaviour, Yours, Bodo von Malottki -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]Im Auftrag von Wendell Piez Gesendet am: Freitag, 27. Just remove the line break from the text in the stylesheet. It's true that some processors may add line breaks in places, when serializing, if indent="yes"; but if a line break is already there it'll appear in the output regardless. Check your stylesheet to make sure no line break snuck in there.
