Subject: [xsl] read variable from another template From: Jorge Gallardo <jegallardo@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 4 Nov 2004 18:47:41 -0600 |
Hi!
Anyone knows how to read a variable value from another template in the
same document?
for example:
<xsl:template match="/root">
<xsl-variable name="var1" select="/root/valor" />
.... more xsl code
<xsl:apply-templates select ="/root/ids" />
.... more xsl code
</xsl:template>
<xsl:template name="ids" match="ids">
<xsl:value-of select="$var1/>
.... more xsl code
</xsl:template>
something like that....
I need to use a value given in the first template.
regards.
