The context is the difference. And the suggested solution would be
the right one. What exactly did you try? What input? Which symptoms?
<xsl:variable name="roots" select="//root"/>
<xsl:for-each select="str:tokenize($roots/path1/info/name,',')">
<!-- You can access $roots here, for example: -->
<xsl:value-of select="$roots/path2/deptinfo"/>
</xsl:for-each>
