Hi Wendell,

Once again I witness the clearness and structure of your mind and contributions.

Thank you for your support.

Regards,
Andre

Dear Andre,

With respect, I disagree with just about everything you said in your last paragraph:

I am sorry that we are all unfortunately wasting valuable energy.

1. You can write; indeed you are quite articulate in defending yourself and your ideas, even when beset from several sides.

2. Exactly whether and how you are wrong is clearly a matter for debate, as has been demonstrated. While opinions certainly vary about when, how and why to use namespaces, as long as we are discussing both generalities and specifics at the same time, there is bound to be confusion over exactly what we agree and disagree on. Furthermore, I dare say that many readers who don't like your design choices are still welcoming the chance to think about the issue in new ways.

3. It's not just a newbie list. Some of us old-timers look out especially for the non-newbie questions, since they challenge us more.

4. We haven't wasted any valuable energy.

So, thank you for your persistence.

Regards,
Wendell
