Hello all.

Judging by the lack of response to the posting of PG2, should I infer that
PG2 is too boring? I had tested it with some friends here in Madison, and
they thought it was better in premise and playability than the first
Pressure Gauge. Also, it is one of the few rare 4-player at once games for
Atari 2600, and one of 2 4-player games where it's every person for
themself, with no computer player. That could also be a reason for the
lack of response, as many people on this list may not have the means to
round up 3 other Atari fanatics in order to test a multiplayer game.
I understand that the main purpose of this list is to learn about Stella
programming, and not to beta-test other people's projects, but I think this
game is actually pretty fun. Plus, PG2 has pretty much been beta-tested to
its limit. Everything should work ok, so functionality aspects need not be
tested, only the "fun factor".
Don't forget, this is more fun on a real VCS than an emulator. PG2 should
be 100% compatible with makewav, so it is entirely Superchargeable.

If it's the lack of computer players, should I write an AI scheme?

If it's really that bad, I could start again from scratch...

I haven't even had the chance to do anything more than download it myself. My supercharger isn't even hooked up and I certainly don't have three friends handy at the moment either. This is just to let you know that I am interested in the game but lack of time is the real culpret (at least for me.)
