So it seems to compile ok, but leads to a blank screen?
do a "sanity check": delete the .bin file, run DASM,
and make sure you're getting a new 4K .bin file resulting
(DASM isn't always obvious about if it actually was able
to compile or not...)

One shot in the dark: it was probably just your mail 
client as you cut and pasted this code, but the long 
comments
;that start like this but have one or two words on the
next line
;before the next line of actual comments start

aren't that way in the code you're trying to compile, right?
