This seems to be a very good move. Programming that old
hardware should be done for fun and nothing else. So if
you think it returns by changing the platform, this is
the best you can do.
I'm too having hard times continuing my game from time
to time, so I switch to side-projects, trying this and
that, until I'm motivated for the real challenge again
