This really looks good. I'll have to reconnect my CC later to give it a try on my 7800.
I don't know if this has been asked before but are you planning on having the stars move toward the ship? Right now your star ship is sitting stationary while the others fly around. Also are the enemy ships going to fly away from you? In other words try to out run you. They move on the x and y axis now. What about the z-axis?
