Subject: [stella] Question about HMCLR From: "Dennis Debro" <ddebro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 15 Mar 2004 22:08:27 -0500 |
Hi all, I'm getting the Climber 5 source ready for [stella]. While going through the source I saw where I was wasting cycles in the kernel to avoid hitting HMCLR before 24 cycles had passed since my last HMOVE. The thing is when I counted the cycles I was short a couple but no one reported any strange behavior on their VCS. My question is...is HMCLR also restricted to 24 cycles after HMOVE or does this just apply to HMPx and HMMx? I re-read the Stella programming manual after I saw this and it doesn't say HMCLR is included in this restriction but it doesn't say it's not either. Manuel, I know you asked why I was using SLEEP before my HMCLR. Is this why you asked?
