OK you guys pulled it out of me..

I'm trying to build my own XSL file to show as an example on use for using my search engine. Any website can query the data and get an XML file back, then display it on their own site. I can do everything, except the IF BLANK thing..

http://www.indexonus.com/xmlTest/Default.asp is the working demo with no IF Statement and http://www.indexonus.com/xmlTest/xmlStyleSheet.xsl as the style sheet.

http://www.indexonus.com/xmlTest/Default2.asp is the non-working demo.

http://www.indexonus.com/xmlTest/xmlStyleSheet2.xsl and http://www.indexonus.com/xml.asp?action=New&SiteID=sourcesitegeeksatworkcom&SearchString=karland is the XML file.

Gavin,

Not sure if I'm reading this correctly, but it looks like your 'if'
expression is evaluating an attribute that does not exist in the source XML
(PREVIOUS_QUERY). Perhaps that should read "PREVIOUS_PAGE"?

Regards,
Frank Neugebauer.

My node goes as follows (removing the standard header info within the XML):
<FOOTER>
	<CONTENT PREVIOUS_PAGE="" NEXT_PAGE="2"></CONTENT>
	<CONTENT PREVIOUS_PAGE="1" NEXT_PAGE="3"></CONTENT>
	<CONTENT PREVIOUS_PAGE="2" NEXT_PAGE="4"></CONTENT>
</FOOTER>

In my XSL I have : <xsl:for-each select="CONTENT"> <xsl:if test="@PREVIOUS_QUERY!=''"> <a><xsl:attribute name="href">default.asp<xsl:value-of select="@PREVIOUS_QUERY" /></xsl:attribute>Previous Page</a><br/> </xsl:if> </xsl:for-each>

This IF Statement causes NO DATA to appear. Take out the If statement and
all data appears as it should.
