Hi, An xsl v1.0 stylesheet that does an xml-to-xml transformation contains this code to ouput title text: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"> <xsl:output method="xml" version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" indent="yes"/> ... <Component> <xsl:attribute name="Name"> <xsl:value-of select="." /> </xsl:attribute> ... The problem is that if the title text in the source xml file contains a line feed or carriage return, the resulting xml contains #13 and #10 asciii characters. This output xml is being parsed by another tool that breaks on these characters. How can I write the style sheet to include the title text, but exclude line feed/carriage returns? Thanks for your help. Ann Marie
