I would like to vote for "semi"-restriction.  Namely, it is useful to have
a focal point for informing interested parties on new DSSSL information
(could be books, papers, seminars) or other activities that could be of
interest to the group as a whole.  I would not allow goods, advertising of
services, etc. which might be interesting but could get out of hand and be
badly abused.
