Subject: page-n-columns Characteristic in Jade From: "Zahn, Lee A." <Lee.Zahn@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 17 Sep 1998 06:13:52 -0400 |
Hello, Using jade to produce RTF, I've tried to get the page-n-columns characteristic to work using the following: (declare-characteristic PNC "UNREGISTERED::James Clark//Characteristic::page-n-columns" 2) (element (testtext) (make simple-page-sequence PNC: 2 (process-children))) The page sequence is created corrected in the resulting RTF, but the columns are never set. In fact, the exact same RTF is produced regardless of whether or not the page-n-columns characteristic is used. My belief is that the resulting RTF should end up with two columns defined for this page sequence. I am just learning just learning about jade and DSSSL, so it could well be that I'm doing something incorrectly. Am I doing this right? Has anyone used the page-n-columns characteristic successfully to create columns in RTF? Thanks.
