Subject: Case insensitive string comparisons From: "W. Eliot Kimber" <eliot@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri, 08 Aug 1997 12:21:31 -0500 |
My experiments suggest that Jade does not provide case-insensitive string comparisons (case-ci=? and case-upcap functions aren't recognized) and I wanted to confirm that this is the case. I assume that this is because Jade does not yet implement the language definition machinery and thus has no way of knowing what the case mapping would be.
