Can anyone help me please.

I want to take a simple CDATA element (probably containing
a single word)
and return the same character sequence,
spread out by one space character.

E.g.
<ABBREV>RNIB</ABBREV> returns R N I B
The intent is that a text to speech system
will then not try to pronounce it as a word,
but will enunciate each letter.
