Hi,

So that others may be spared the irritation we have recently had ...

If you want tables to stay together (i.e. not break across page
boundaries), beware of empty cells. In the RTF backend, at any rate, if
you create a table-cell for an element that has no content, you end up
with a 'rogue' paragraph in that cell which doesn't have (Word's) 'keep
with next' flag set.

I got round this problem by simply appending a space to all table cells
after (process-children) to ensure they had some content, but I'm sure
there are cleverer ways, which check that an element has no data content
before taking such intrusive action!

Happy Christmas!

Richard Light.
