That probably is true of XSL but it is definitely not true of DSSSL. XSL is not going to be finished for quite some time (at least 18 months I guesst). If it is decided to incorporate some or all of that back into DSSSL (and that is not at all certain), I would be surprised if that took less than a year. So that means that it is going to be at least two to three years before you see any major changes to the DSSSL standard (there might be a bug-fixing TC before). DSSSL is an approved International Standard. XSL doesn't yet even have an official group working to standardize it. Let's keep a sense of perspective here.
