Subject: looking for non breaking hyphen From: Bas Peters <bpeters@xxxxxx> Date: Tue, 2 Feb 1999 11:15:44 +0100 |
Is there a hyphen entity that behaves like the non-breaking space ( ) or is there a DSSSL solution? When I output the following into a three column catalogue format: ... <mrcb100-a>Kantorowicz, Hermann Ulrich,</mrcb100-a> <mrcb100-d>1877-1940.</mrcb100-d> ... the result is this: Kantorowicz, Hermann Ulrich, 1877- 1940. I would like to keep both years together on one line: Kantorowicz, Hermann Ulrich, 1877-1940. Normally you would use the to keep two words together, is there a way to do the same using a hyphen? regards, Bas Peters bpeters@xxxxxx IDC Publishers DSSSList info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/dsssl/dssslist
