I have just updated

 CTAN:macros/jadetex
 http://www.tug.org/applications/jadetex

with identical versions of the current Jadetex. No, this is not an
all-singing all-dancing revision. There are three reasons for it

 a) finalizing the TeX Live CD-ROM, which has this in place
 b) going mad trying to track what works and what does not. this is a
    fresh start :-}
 c) expecting to come back to jadetex seriously in a month or two

if what you have now works, leave it alone! try this is you feel
interested, or have problems (yes thats you Alexander, with the mail
about "cooked")
