Open Jade News: --------------- The OpenJade front page now includes a new link to Matthias Clasen OpenJade internals document. This is a work in progress. For any comments, contact Matthias, he's the OpenJade internal documentation lead. People from Next solutions who created DSSSLPrint expect a release for a new version this summer or this fall. Actually, DSSSLPrint is a commercial product used to translate SGML/XML documents into PDF and Postscrip formats. This is running on Unix. I added a new section: "The formatting object of the month". This month, we are presenting the paragraph object. the document includes the object property list, a sample convertion for all backend formats: MIF, Tex, RTF, HTML+CSS, the object visual model and related similar objects from other languages like CSS (W3 recommendation) and XSL(work in progress). The document will evolve this month based on OpenJade users comments. Still missing: Peter comments on the tactile version in BraiFo. We are working to coordinate all the patches we received from authors like Matthias, David and Adam. We still have to work on a process for patches posting, source building process and code release to all DSSSL users. Thanks to all people who made possible OpenJade.
