Subject: ANN: SGML for Windows NT relaunch From: hoenicka_markus <hoenicka_markus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 28 Jun 1999 23:44:50 -0400 |
The new version of the tutorial "SGML for Windows NT" is now online. SGML for Windows NT describes the setup and use of a system of free pieces of software for editing SGML documents and publishing them in a variety of print and online formats. What's new in this release: - It is now a DocBook document, therefore you can browse it online or download it in several print formats - The whole content was rearranged. The idea is now to guide the complete newbie through the setup with defined roadmarks that allow to test the installed components - Several examples for the use of the components are given throughout the tutorial - All components were updated to the most recent versions - The print versions are more than 50 pages, and hopefully this increase in size is not fluff, but substance.
