The advantage is that we increase the versatility, it happens that the
interest and capabilities of someone match with a need. Thus it makes sense
tht this person develop what some people are requesting for.

 This said, other back ends are improved actually but member of the OpenJade
project but more help is needed. If you think that other back ends need more
work or that you have some improvements in mind, you are more than welcome
to participate to the OpenJade effort.
