Thanks for the reply.  A brief question.  It appears that you have seen
these gems in the past.  Once pinned down, what generally gets modified to
solve the problem?  The stylesheet?  The DTD?  Openjade?  Pdfjadetex?  The
source file?  The target tex file (I think this would be a bad answer)?  
Something I haven't yet mentioned?
