I've put up a tarball of what I've called openjade 1.3.3-pre1 - find it
at http://sf.net/projects/openjade - then follow the link to "files".

Rather than sitting on it any longer I've added the recent work of
Cristian Tornador to the RELEASE-1_3 branch of openjade as this is the
version that he has been working on. I think everyone concerned was keen
to get this out to a wider audience - than wait for the niceties of
someone (me) integrating it into CVS HEAD and so on.

Whats New:
----------

Cristian will be able to offer a more detailed explanation, I'm sure,
however this contains support for the following flow objects:

page-sequence
column-set-sequence
embedded-text
anchor
included-container-area
glyph-annotation
aligned-column
multi-line-inline-note
emphasizing-mark
side-by-side
side-by-side-item

The main downside is that none of the backends support these new
objects.... this is work still to be done.. but perhaps people will be
inspired to get working on them...

...And of course, some example DSSSL stylesheets that make use of the
new objects needs to be written....

I've done enough QA to make sure that it compiles (for me; Red Hat 8.0
i386) and that it runs a simple regression test (building the
releasenotes document) - i.e. it does at least what 1.3.2 does. To get
this to work I had to disable the initialisation of the
"multi-line-inline-note" as this crashes.... (see FlowObj.cxx)

.. The point of the release is to make Cristian's work available to a
wider audience. So have fun!

Of course, you can also get it from CVS by checking out module "jade" on
the RELEASE-1_3 branch - or specifically RELEASE-1_3_3-pre1
