Subject: [jats-list] Third-party author profiles From: Alf Eaton <eaton.alf@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 23 Jul 2013 08:26:44 +0100 |
If an author of an article has added information to their manuscript
about their profile information on third-party sites (e.g. Twitter),
would this be an appropriate way to mark it up?:
<contrib id="author-1" contrib-type="author" corresp="yes">
<name>
<surname>Surname</surname>
<given-names>Given Name</given-names>
</name>
<xref ref-type="aff" rid="aff-1">1</xref>
<email>example@xxxxxxxxx</email>
<ext-link ext-link-type="twitter-username"
xlink:href="https://twitter.com/examplename">ExampleName</ext-link>
</contrib>
It seems right, but I'm not sure what a good value for @ext-link-type
would be - is there any precedence for something similar?
Thanks,
Alf
