Dear Tommasso.

You can have multiple abstracts in an article XML, one being the actual article abstract, another being a summary of some sort of the document, another being the blurb you are interested in. You can qualify each abstract with a distinct @abstract-type, so that humans and machines alike know which is which.

Would such a solution work for you?

Hi All,

I'm exploring the possibilityB of adding a text blurb to articles' XML (JATS Publishing ver 1.1).

This sort of summary would be text-only, and different from the actual
- as said, it would be a short blurb of informative text describing the topic of the article.

I've looked at the taglist but I couldn't find a suitable element. Does anybody have a suggestion/recommendation?

Many thanks!

Kind regards,
