I have been conditioned to think of RDF as a kind of super-DTD but >obviously it is more general and more malleable. XPDL will in fact have an RDF schema. The problem isn't just choosing a particular schema, though. Deciding whether to put certain types of information about the document into the document itself or to put it in a separate resource file is a significant issue. It's not just the schema vocabulary, and I don't think most people are going to be writing 'regular' XML schemas in RDF (though it is, of course, possible.) With a good deal of work, I'm hoping that XPDL will be able to call itself both an RDF application and an XLink application, but still be simple enough that creating and processing XPDs is easy. We'll see how it goes, of course. Simon St.Laurent XML: A Primer Sharing Bandwidth / Cookies http://www.simonstl.com XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
