Subject: RE: ANNOUNCE: SAXON 4.2 - An XSL Compiler From: "Ed Nixon" <ed.nixon@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Sat, 24 Apr 1999 16:31:09 -0400 |
I want to echo and second Elliotte Rusty Harold's comment about Saxon 4.2 on Café con Leche (XML) today (Saturday): "In a truly excellent hack, the compiler is written in XSL, generates Java, and has been used to compile itself." Congratulations Michael Kay! I think this is a great example of why XSL/XML etc. stuff is so exciting and it's certainly why I look forward every day to the news from 'front' -- Robin Cover's coverage, Elliotte's pages and this list. Please keep it coming! And thanks for all the effort. ...edN > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Kay Michael > Sent: Friday, April 23, 1999 5:58 PM > To: 'xml-dev@xxxxxxxx'; 'xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' > Subject: ANNOUNCE: SAXON 4.2 - An XSL Compiler > XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
