XSL FOs -> PDF using InDesign

Subject: XSL FOs -> PDF using InDesign

Has anybody given thoughts on using Adobe InDesign as the layout
engine to go from FOs to PDF? It looks like InDesign is both a good
layout engine, and "easy" to extend.
