Don, I'm a "newbie" too, but IE 5.5 has version 2.0 of the MSXML. You need to download MSXML 3.0, you can do it all from here... http://www.netcrucible.com/xslt/msxml-faq.htm Besides getting the version 3, I noticed that you are not using the correct namespace for "transform". This is what MSXML 3.0 recognizes and it's straight from the W3C. <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"> Hope this helps.
