ordr-by was implemented in the very first MSXML parser before the spec was complete, and now xsl:sort is the preferred (and correct) way to get this functionality. The xsl:sort is implemented in the SQL2000 parser, and the march and may MSXML3 releases. The non-standard order-by is used by the earlier MSXML and is documented in MSDN Online.
