Good observation.  I'm writing a companion piece that generates an XSL
stylesheet from a DTD.  Hopefully that will help in some cases.

script to provide a shell xsl stylesheet
for a given input file.

Since the archives are down I can't find
his email ads.
Just to note that the command line
given needs updating:

omle -s xml2xsl.xom lessons.xml -of temp.xsl

Quite useful, so long as the instance covers
most of the dtd.

A good addition would be a catchall template
with a warning if additional elements are found.
