Transformation failed

As your error message states: "attribute values may not contain '<'". The dereferencing works as the others posted, but I prefer actual symbols for readability. You can reverse the arguments and the symbol and it will work just fine. Try:


<xsl:if test="position() >= 2 and 3 >= position()">
  <!-- -->
</xsl:if>
