Why are so many people incapable of reading the brightly highlighted
text on this page which tells you NOT to register bugs in this way?

I don't know how SourceForge intended the bug register to be used, but I
use it as a list of known confirmed bugs. If everyone who thought they
had found a bug logged it there, there would be 100 entries saying
"position() always comes out as 2,4,6" and the like.

You haven't supplied a stylesheet, so I can't be certain, but your
problem is almost certainly a duplicate of 601804

Your entry will therefore be deleted.

The best way to report bugs is via the list saxon-help@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
There is also a forum, but the list often gets replies from other users,
whereas messages to the forum usually only get responses from me, which
takes longer.

And however you post it, you don't need to announce the fact on xsl-list
- readers of this list are quite busy enough already.
