You can try <script src="file.js"></script> .
You have to be careful, I had a problem in the past with IE 6.0 . The
processor will generate <script src="file.js" />
Some versions of IE won't support it, They require to have <script
src="file.js"></script> instead .
The only way I had to get around that issue is to do something like <script
src="file.js"> JunkVar = 0; </script>
I don't know if it's the best way to do it, but it worked for me .

Hope this will help .
