Subject: [xsl] overlapping fo:region-before and fo:region-body From: "Moenig, Dorit" <Dorit.Moenig@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri, 27 Jun 2003 09:21:26 +0200 |
i have the problem to create a content-dependant table in region-body, not knowing how many rows ( positions of a bill) are coming. how do i achieve a table frame, that has a bottom line always at the bottom of region-body, and not led end the table after the last position of my bill ? i found a solution where in region-before the fixed table (e.g. one row that spans over 15cm and has borders) is defined in region-before, and the content-dependant table with variable count of rows in region -body. by letting them overlap (margin-top of region-body less than region-before) they achieved a fixed-layout of the table. a similar solution i found for retrieve-marker statements, which have to be placed in region-before or region-after. if they have to be located in region-body (e.g. first or last row of a table) this can also be achieved by overlapping the regions. my question : how do you think about this solution and do you know any other possibilities to achieve the two mentioned effects ?
