  Please try the following XSL Template ;)

<xsl:template match="/test">
  <xsl:for-each select="row">
     <xsl:if test = "field2 = 'yes'">
         <xsl:value-of select="position()" />
     </xsl:if>
  </xsl:for-each>	
</xsl:template>
