In order to take the filename out of the "path/filname", David suggested:
tokenize(document-uri(.), "[\\/]")[last()]
to catch both / and \

The set of functions working in both XmlSpy and in Saxon looks like this:
tokenize(document-uri(.), "(\\|/)")[last()]
