although it doesn't mention that the TeX typesetting system uses the
pleasingly palindromic 72.27 pt to an inch as the definition of "pt"
(which is pretty much exactly the 0.013 837 inch wikipedia gives for the
1879 definition) (TeX also has "bp" units for big (postscript) points)
