Subject: [xsl] ANN: RenderX releases Adobe InDesign to XSL FO conversion style sheets From: "Kevin Brown" <kevin@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 10 Aug 2006 11:18:55 -0700 |
RenderX is pleased to announce that we have completed a new set of style sheets for transformation of Adobe InDesign Interchange Format (.INX) to XSL FO vocabulary. These generic style sheets produce XSL FO suitable for RenderX XEP Engine. The primary purpose of these style sheets is to speed the creation of dynamic PDF documents, leveraging the widespread page design application from Adobe, InDesign CS2. The style sheets also support the ability to make use of the dynamic data bound with InDesign data binding mechanism. These style sheets are similar in nature to the WordML to XSL FO sheets created for Microsoft WordProcessingML. As RenderX has done for WordML2FO, we have released these tools as free tools and will be making improvements and releasing fixes over time. We encourage all interested parties to provide us feedback. For more information, you can visit the INX2FO web site page at: http://www.renderx.com/tools/inx2fo.html This page contains some additional information and a download form. The download contains the style sheets, documentation and several examples. Kevin Brown RenderX, Inc. kevin@xxxxxxxxxxx http://www.renderx.com
