I have used tunnel="yes" with success in XSLT projects but feel that, in
someway,
the ad-hoc use thereof could lead to a poor programming practice and this was
the motivation for my question.  If any of you can offer a view on this,
that would
be great.  To me is seems like a good measure for retrofit to stylesheets gone
out of control.

BTW.  It looks like the electronic-terrorists (aka spammers) are winning in
their
aim of destroying our liberties.  I feel somewhat intimidated having
received this
auto response from my latest posting to the xsl-list.  Copy below;  any
