Subject: Re: [xsl] easiet method to process xml with xsl From: "G. Ken Holman" <gkholman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 05 Feb 2009 13:46:45 -0500 |
I know three methods to process an XML document with an XSL template to obtain the target XML upon which the transformation has been inflicted. One of them is Saxon and the other one is Xalan, but I didn't get my head around installing them (and modifying the java classpath and all that), so I used the third option, which is using any of those processors as they conveniently come integrated in the oXygen editor, so I just select the XML, the XSL and the processor, click Run and wait.
For some reasons, it would be convenient for me to start using another method which doesn't resort to third-party applications. So, the question is: Is there any other way apart from the ones that I mentioned and which is easy to install and use for a fool like me? Ideally it would be usable on the command line (Window's or Cygwin).
