CoherentWeb is a light-weight, multi-threaded ,.NET GUI tool, and is
designed to assist in assuring the coherence of XHTML websites. It
accomplishes this by performing a bulk XSLT transform on a locally
stored version of the site, prior to publication.

The features CoherentWeb provides are designed to simplify this 'bulk'
transform process by allowing you to:

Control the input files selected for transform (using file
patterns,switches for sub-folders, hidden-file attributes and an
individual file override)
Monitor the progress of the transform
Perform a 'test run' to a safe output area
When ready, automatically overwrite the input files
Review results in a fully functional built-in browser preview
Review separate logs for processed/failed transforms
Measure the performance/efficiency of the XSLT by configuring a looped run
Maintain a history log of the time and performance of previous transform runs
If necessary, undo the effects of the transform on all the files
Preserve settings, to easily repeat the transform the next time you
use CoherentWeb

This tool is currently limited to XSLT 1.0 and does not yet perform
XSD validation, though this is a future goal.

Included in the CoherentWeb download is documentation and a sample
website and Identity-Template based XSLT. The tool requires no
installation other than an unzip and comes pre-configured to transform
this sample site with a single mouse-click.

CoherentWeb integrates with a special bundled version of SketchPath
and is currently being used to maintain/build the new Qutoric website,
its freeware and available for download from:

I hope this will assist other Website builders and am interested to
learn if this has some originality or (because there seems to be an
obvious need) simply replicates other tools already available.

Many thanks
